Amber Alert on The Vow

So The Vow just came out on blu ray. Yeah, I watched it.

Has anyone seen this? (Judging from the box office for it’s Valentine’s Day release I would say yes).

I think it plays best if you think of it as some Nicholas Sparks meets Fringe hybrid…

After Rachel McAdams awakens from a coma, she doesn’t remember her husband Channing Tatum. She only remembers her life BEFORE she was hipster cool as a successful artist with her music producer hubby. And that ‘other’ life would be? Well, she was a North Shore (takes places in and around Chicago) richie jerk. The further the story develops I couldn’t help think McAdams’ character becomes this other version of herself. Faux McAdams. And she starts pouting… a lot.

Of course, there’s no Walter so that’s disappointing.

here. we. went. this weekend’s screening of The Silence of the Lambs at Hollywood Forever Cemetery was so much fun. I forgot how many great horror flicks are also quite funny. And intentionally so.
